I've been neglecting my deviant art, as well as photography in general. This is primarily due to the fact that I left my camera's battery charger in my moms van after a family vacation, and my family has lost it Sure, I could go back to using my old digital camera, but it seems so slow and crappy compared to my newer one.

I got a cheap old film camera I wanted to play around with, but it uses an unusual battery that is no longer made so finding one has been a challenge.

In the mean time I've been keeping busy with various art projects--I took up knitting for a week before getting bored with it, then I decided to make a costume for one of my stuffed animals out of felt, then Halloween came along so I delved into my favorite pastime, pumpkin carving and tonight I feel like once again trying to draw people, this time actually looking at online lessons instead of observing people around me and being a creep

Lately I feel like trying to write a story (actually, a novel but that's never going to happen). I am absolutely terrible at getting my thoughts out on paper, or even voicing them out loud, but I think I'll try sometime soon once this drawing phase wears off.

I could probably be exceptionally good at some art form if I took the time to practice something for more than a week. I can't tho. I get bored too easily and want to move on to something new. But I am ever persistent and continually working on some art project.
